Caitlin and the Prom

When Clay and I started dating, Caitlin was about 10 years old. I would bring my barbies out to Vernal with me and I would play barbies with Sam and Caitlin. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago. But instead of playing barbies, Caitlin is now a barbie! She is seriously such a hottie! She just went to prom this last weekend and I went over to see how cute she looked. Honestly, her daddy better lock her up...she is sooooo cute!!

Bow Chicka Wow Wow

Me and Sam...we didn't get to go to prom so we watched Sam's favorite movie, Twilight
(Just kidding, Sam doesn't really like Twilight, but she watched it with me so she could make fun of me and the movie.)

Jacob's Birthday

Here are some pictures from Jacob's birthday. I know it's been a week, I'm just really slow.

Jacob was so excited that he was now 4

Jacob got a John Deere Heaven movie from Grandma Dianne and Grandpa Joe

He got Little Einstein Bingo from Kamren

Blowing out his candles

His Case International Tractor cake- this is the kind of tractor his Grandpa Joe has so he made the switch from John Deere... at least for one day.

He also had a little birthday party with some friends from his primary class. It was really fun to have some little kids over for lunch and games.

This is his remote control airplane that mommy and daddy gave him

I still can't believe that he is four. I still think of a three year old as being really little but four just seems so big! When I think about four year olds, I expect a lot more and now that I have one, I just want him to be tiny again. Jacob is such a joy to have in our house. He is very tender-hearted and for the most part a pretty good big brother. He love to read books with mommy and he has more tractor knowledge than most adults. We love you Jacob and are so happy that you are in our family. Keep being a sweet boy!

A Totally Wicked Weekend

For Christmas my mommy gave everyone in our family tickets to see "Wicked". We finally got to go this weekend, and it was totally awesome. I didn't really know much about the musical, but I ended up loving it. I hadn't ever been to a professional musical before so it was a joy to be there. Thanks mom for a great time!

Becca and I

This is a picture I got in trouble for taking. Oops!

Happy Happy Birthday Jacob Dear...

Jacob turned 4 today. I can't believe it. Today we did this...

...And it seems like only yesterday I was doing this...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU BIG TRACTOR BOY!

Let's Go Fly A Kite...

Grandpa John gave us a kite. It was the coolest thing ever! We had the perfect wind and tons of string and a big open space in our back yard. Thanks grandpa for an awesome afternoon.

Handsome Boys

I have decided that buying new ties for little boys for Easter is okay. If I had a girl, she would totally get a new dress, so I thought it was time for new ties. I thought these were too cute!

Jacob
Caleb, who would NOT stand still, plus we were late for church

And a really cute picture of the two boys.
HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY

Peter Cottontail

For Easter this year, we were visited by "The best Easter bunny Santa named Peter Cottontail." That is how Jacob described the miracle of the Easter eggs. It totally made my day. I thought it was so funny. We were really busy on Saturday and Sunday morning so the Easter Bunny, I mean Peter Cotton tail came on Friday night. We dyed the eggs on Friday and then had a wonderful morning on Saturday. We got way too much candy, sun glasses, a small train and each of the boys got a movie. Jacob got his "bestest movie ever" Bolt and Caleb got Kunfu Panda. Here are some of our pictures of the morning.

I think the boys had a great time. Thanks Peter Cottontail for being the best Santa rabbit you could be.

Spring Chickens

The best thing about spring is all the baby animals!! Our grandpa John brought some baby chicks over to his house for us to enjoy while we were there this last weekend. They were so cute and the kids loved them!

He just couldn't get enough of them.

Jacob and my little cousin Austin, each holding a chick.

(Funny thing, I love the little baby chicks but I'm really scared of chickens. Always have been.)

Good Bye Puppies!!

Well, today we sold our last puppy. I'm having a mix of emotions. It has been really fun, but all the puppy poop is driving me crazy and I'm really ready to have my laundry room back. They got little hair cuts before we sold them. I have one picture of the last one before she went. They were so cute! It almost made me want to keep one! ALMOST!

Caleb Is Two

Finally, I have time to report on Calebs birthday.

Here is his pathetic Thomas the Train I tried to make.

Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast!

Here is Caleb blowing out his candles!

And here is Caleb and his Lego Thomas set.
He had a great day. Thanks for everyone who made it a good day!
And yes...my child is majorly obsessed with Thomas the Train. I hate that show! The things we do for our kids. Although I'm not so sure it's a favor to him. The trains can be so mean!
