This is what we woke up to today. Snow. I was just wondering if it was April 29th? Not just the fact that it is April, but the very end of April. Seriously. Are you kidding me?

Birthday At Preschool

Jacob had so much going on his birthday so we let him ditch out on school for the day. He celebrated the next day at preschool. Jacob wanted to take donuts for his treat.

Jacob Turns 5

MyJacob is 5. I cannot believe that it has been 5 years since I had my first baby. Jacob is the birthday man. He loves birthday's-no matter who's birthday it is. He had very specific requests for his birthday. Pancakes for breakfast. Pizza for lunch. Biscuits and gravy for dinner. Party horns. Balloons. I think we got it all in. Grandpa John and Grandma Jan came out for the day, bringing Carter and Will.

Jacob had a very specific request for a cake. It had to be vanilla so looked like corn. He wanted a John Deere combine dumping corn into a New Holland truck. It was really hard but I think it turned out. He liked it so I guess that's all that matters.

Grandma Dianne, Grandpa Joe, Caitlin, Sam and Michael and his kids came for dinner and cake. Jacob was so happy to have so many fun people over for his birthday.

Our New Project

Since we have some ground behind our house, we decided to make use of it by getting some calves to take care of. We have 4 calves in our back yard. The boys love it and are really good at taking care of them.

Caleb Goes To the Dentist

Caleb went to the dentist for the first time. He did so awesome! He was only a little scared when they tipped the chair back. He let them clean and count all of his teeth! Way to go Caleb!

Easter

We had a lovely Easter. After we hunted eggs we enjoyed conference at home. Then we went to the Batty's house for dinner, more eggs hunting and the last session on conference. It was a nice day and a good way to remember our Savior.

We went over to our friends the Holfeltz's house for dinner and to dye Easter eggs. We had a lot of fun making a mess!

March Birthday Party

Due to the high volume of Barker birthday's in March we decided to have one big party to celebrate! We got together, played games, had cake and threw in some Easter stuff for good measure!
