Our Garden Harvest

Our garden didn't do very well this year. I was pregnant all summer and Clay was so busy with work so we didn't get much out of it. We only harvested three things out of our garden this year.
A Pea Pod
A Tomato
A Pumpkin

Sophie the pea pod
Caleb the tomato

Jacob the pumpkin

Our harvest

Clay and I with our big harvest from the year.
Aren't they so yummy?

Eating Mummies

For lunch on Halloween we made pizza mummies. Olives for eyes and strips of string cheese for the wrap of the mummy. They turned out pretty cute and the boys loved them.

The Great Pumpkin

These are this years pumpkins from the Batty house

Sophie and I didn't get our carved. She was being a little grump.
Caleb painted his yellow, then painted black on top.
Clay carved his green pumpkin with a power tool.
Jacob turned his into a cute and happy witch.
Jacob's school had a pumpkin contest but because he was sick, his pumpkin didn't get done in time for the contest. He is disappointed but it is still cute. I think he wins first prize!

Caleb. He is the biggest mess maker on the planet. He dripped paint on the floor, stepped in it and then tracked it all over the place...this is why I don't do crafts as much as I should.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Getting Big

Look how chubby my baby is! She's getting so big so fast!

I love this shirt because Clay calls her cupcake when she wears it.
It's almost too small, which makes me totally sad.

Doesn't she look like Caleb in this picture?

Grandma Jan's Witch Party

Since we don't usually get to trick-or-treat at my parents house, Grandma Jan has a Halloween party for all the kids. It's a really fun tradition. We play games and have spooky treats and have Grandma Jan's witchy poo punch. Its totally awesome!

Jacob having a blast
Caleb trying to be happy even though I told him he couldn't eat all of his candy at once

Caleb doing the egg race. He isn't racing very fast!

Jacob's theory was slow and steady wins the race

Will, Carter, Caleb and Jacob after playing pin the face on the jack-o-lantern

Sophie and I enjoying the festivities from afar

Thanks for a fun party Grandma Jan!

Batty For Daddy

This sweet little thing has her daddy wrapped around her little finger...already. She is usually pretty awake from about 4:30 am until about 6:00 am. Clay is such a sucker. He takes her in the other room and holds her until he has to get ready for work. It's really sweet and it gives me a chance to get some sleep before my little monsters wake up.
Clay's friend gave Sophie this little Halloween shirt, and it is totally fitting.

"I'm Batty For Daddy"

Thanks Clay for being a great daddy. We all love you so much!

Family Picture

Here are our first family snap shots since Sophie joined our family.

I love the looks on my boys faces!

Caught

I honestly caught my boys doing this. They are eating brownie batter. Clay has been doing this since he was Caleb's age. I guess there's nothing wrong with passing down his sweet tooth.

Sophie's Blessing Day

Last Sunday Clay was able to give Sophie a name and a blessing at church. We were so lucky to have all of our family and some good friends there with us that day. Sophie was awesome and was so good that day. She really is an angel.

I think this picture looks so much like her
This is my favorite picture. She looks so cute!!
Thanks for everyone who came out to support us and to see our little Sophie.
