Busy

I have been neglecting my blog because

I have been so busy doing this...

It's one of the reasons I love September.

I don't know why, but I love canning.

I have also been busy with this...

Yes, Jazzy had more puppies...

And No, I don't want to talk about it...

...but the boys love it!
That is, if I can keep Caleb from squeezing them!!

Snow Roomies

A couple of weeks ago my roommates from Snow College and I got together. It was really fun to see all the gals. We have all spread out so far but it was really fun to have almost everyone back together. Heidi was in Utah from Texas so we had a lunch at Kristi's house. We missed our little Aubrey in Illinois.

We were having a struggle with the self timers on all of our camera's so Katie is the champ of self portraits. I still can't believe we all fit!

Why is he so happy?

Because he started Preschool

For the past year Jacob has been complaining that he is the only one who isn't in school.

"Grandpa John goes to school. Joslin and Michael go to school. Katrina and Burdette go to school. Sam and Caitlin go to school.

I'm the only one who doesn't get to go to school."

Now he is in Preschool and he couldn't be happier. He doesn't even miss me and didn't even want me to walk him inside to his class. I didn't think you were supposed to be embarrassed of your mom at school until around 2nd grade. I guess it starts earlier. It made me cry a little bit.

He loves his teacher and is making friends with kids who's names are "The kid in the basketball shirt" and "The guy who took my toy"

Here is Jacob ready to go to school. He told me I couldn't take any pictures of him at school so this is the best we got! I can't believe he is this big but I guess that's what happens.

I just accomplished one of my life goals. I ran the Top Of Utah Half Marathon this last weekend. It was awesome!! I have been training for several months so it feels good to have accomplished this! I ran with my cute friend Whitney. We never stopped running and we finished in less time than our goal. So all in all it was awesome!
